Our Curriculum

Little Faces Nursery operates within the EYFS framework. Each room offers a range of continuous provision allowing children to explore and develop their experiences and learning skills at their own pace. There are opportunities for key group time and individual self selected activities promoting social interaction and self confidence.

Little Faces Nursery have designed unique room layouts and furniture to provide an enabled environment that suits the particular needs of each child. This ensures they have constant access and choice of equipment to develop and progress in their own learning journey.

As soon as your child begins at Little Faces Nursery their Learning Journey will commence. Staff will document this in a unique learning journey book. This is a special keep sake that not only evaluates and tracks their learning development against the early years foundation stage but also holds memories, photos and artwork of significant times at Little Faces Nursery.

Our Menus

Our seasonal menus run on a two weekly rota providing a varied diet and lots of new food each week. The menus have been carefully created to meet nutritional guidelines for young children. Children are introduced to fresh fruit and vegetables daily which are locally sourced

We will also provide a range of freshly prepared purees for babies that are weaning, starting with vegetables and adding white meat and fish when parents wish. When ready, the babies can move on to pureed or lumpier versions of the main menu.

Staff are available to discuss your child’s needs when you feel your child is ready for the next stage of weaning.
